yeah, depending on the support group you’ve found, those things are often worth a miss. sometimes you can find one with more diversity, but they’re usually made of middle-aged white trans women who have transitioned at their law firm or other-source-of-amazing-financial-resource and are very preachy about “the right thing to do”, aren’t tolerant of queerness in general, and just have a hard time seeing their own privilege. good luck though, and hopefully you find an awesome one with some trans masculine folks! if only you were in orlando, there’s a pretty sweet one there my friend and i went to a few times. a good mix of generations and everyone goes out to dinner afterwards (with some of us gettin a little smoky beforehand, hehe…).

I really liked this one, a good one for Valentines Day. Also, I don’t think Mrs. Turnage’s preposition boot camp ever really left any of our minds…..
