To cite the second panel, I learned at the 2010 Philadelphia Trans Health Conference that binding with ACE bandages for over six months may actually damage breast elasticity to such an extent that it may prevent top surgery as a future option. I tried to find more literature on this subject, but I have still only heard this information from Kathy L. Rumer, DO, during her workshop presentation entitled Surgical Options for the Transgender Male on June 4, 2010. Other injuries such as bruising, cutting, warping the rib cage and weakening chest muscles are well documented, so Ace bandages should be avoided regardless. Check out Hudson’s FTM Resource Guide to research other binding options.
If a shortage of cash is making you cringe at the idea of tossing your Ace bandages, consider applying for Big Brothers Used Binder Program.
Happy binding!
Underworks is based in the USA, and has an FTM section for binders. It’s pretty reasonably priced too :)
hello, I’m from Brazil and I found your webcomic amazing! (sorry for my bad english..)

Thank you! I’m glad you enjoy it. I went to Brazil once. I stayed with a Japanese-Brazilian family in Menas Gerais and Parana state for two weeks.
Haha. I woke up down today. You’ve cheeerd me up!
Oh, my god–I went to buy shoes yesterday and we had to go to THREE stores before I found men’s shoes in a 7.5.
