My financial aid was suspended due to being unregistered with selective service. I emailed to explain the circumstances, and the woman who wrote back said she figured I had enough to deal with, and took care of it without further ado. It’s the exception at present, but it happens. :)

The more of us come out, the more common this scenario may become. When it’s in the family, it changes minds.
