So many sympathies and hugs for Mel just now.

I’ve never met a use of the word ‘natural’ that I liked, in any context. It’s one of the few concepts that I’d be unequivocally happy to erase from language. Meaningless, and so capable of meaning anything the speaker feels like, and yet as unquestioned as “holy” and it’s cognates have been in ages past.
