Transgender Day of Remembrance occurs on November 20 and is a chance to reflect on the trans lives lost to disconnection, hatred and fear. I encourage you to observe TDoR with your friends, families, and communities by hosting or supporting events in honor of those who died, or simply by talking about these deaths and what they mean. We can’t grow as people and communities unless we process the trauma we experience. Every taken trans life leaves a scar on humanity but those scars run deeper within the trans community. Give yourself a moment to heal this November 20.
